Great Wall with Mitsubishi 2.4L Petrol Engine

Hi, I'm looking at buying a Great Wall with a 2.4L Petrol Mitsubishi engine. Have also heard they are a mitsubishi chassis, don't know if that's true. Does anyone know anything about these and are they any good? Have test driven one which was really gutless. Don't know if it was that vehicle or all of them in general. There seems to be a lot of them around with low km's. Looking at one that has about 30,000km for around $7K 1 owner. Any feedback welcome. I have a ASX on hire atm and really like it, seems quite powerful for a little SUV and runs on the smell of an oily rag. Cheers, Lee
